QA/QC Engineer – Quality Assurance & Control

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the highest quality standards for our clients. This role implements the company’s quality management system, conducts inspections, and manages documentation in line with contract requirements and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, implement and manage QA/QC programmes according to the company’s quality policy.
• Control technical submittals, drawings and documents, ensuring proper validation, issue, amendment and recall.
• Coordinate inspections, monitor required tests, and record results as per contract plans and specifications.
• Work with the Project Manager to halt work where discrepancies exist and release stop‑work orders after corrective actions.
• Provide technical support for material approvals, inspection requests, shop drawings and as‑built documentation.
• Assist management in internal quality audits and ensure non‑conformance reports (NCR) are raised when needed.
• Prepare corrective action reports (CAR) for NCRs, audit findings and customer complaints.
• Conduct QHSE site visits to verify compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Perform raw material inspections, incoming material assessments and outgoing product quality checks.
• Inspect fabricated pressure vessels, valve stations, pump stations, frames, skids and racks.
• Generate method statements for project scopes.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in O&G or manufacturing environments.
• Certified ISO Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor.
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII Division 1.
• ASNT NDT Level II certification.
• CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector.
