QC Manager - Interior Fit-Out

About the role

The Quality Control Manager for Fit-Out is responsible for establishing, implementing and monitoring quality standards across all interior fit-out projects, ensuring works follow approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, authority requirements and client expectations. The position is based in Dubai and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements
• Prepare, review and implement ITPs, method statements, checklists and quality procedures for fit-out works
• Conduct regular site inspections against approved drawings, mock-ups, samples and specifications, covering joinery, finishes, flooring, ceilings, wall finishes, furniture and MEP coordination
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and clients, manage WIRs, MIRs, IRs and snagging, and close out NCRs, observations and punch lists
• Review material submittals, samples and shop drawings, evaluate subcontractor quality performance and arrange factory inspections for joinery and bespoke items
• Ensure snag-free completion, coordinate final inspections, authority approvals and as-built documentation, and support DLP management and post-handover issues
• Prepare quality reports, dashboards and lessons learned, identify recurring issues and train project teams on quality procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
• More than 20 years of experience in interior fit-out projects
• Strong UAE experience with consultant-led projects and proven experience in high-end commercial, hospitality, retail or residential fit-outs
• Experience with Grade A offices, luxury hospitality or bespoke joinery projects
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
• Immediate availability

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, workmanship standards and tolerances
• Strong understanding of QA/QC documentation and procedures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and document control systems
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
