Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer

About the role

Dar, a member of the Sidra group, is seeking a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer to ensure that construction activities meet project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements across building and airport projects.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures in line with approved drawings, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance of civil, architectural, structural and finishing works with project standards.
• Review and verify material submittals, technical documents, inspection requests and test reports.
• Identify non‑conformities, issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports and test reports throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer on building, residential, commercial or airport projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, inspection processes and testing requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants, site engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• QA/QC procedures and documentation (ITPs, Method Statements, material submittals).
• ISO 9001 quality management system knowledge.
• Construction standards and international codes compliance.
• Non‑conformance reporting and corrective action monitoring.
