Quality Control Specialist

About the role

The Quality Control Specialist ensures that every product leaving the factory meets the company’s quality standards, industry regulations, and customer expectations. Working across the entire production chain, the specialist inspects incoming materials, monitors in‑process work, and validates finished goods before shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect materials and components received from suppliers against specifications and standards.
• Conduct in‑process inspections at each production stage to detect non‑conformities early.
• Perform final inspection of finished products, checking dimensions, surface quality, lacquering, functionality of fittings, and assembly correctness.
• Verify product compliance with technical documentation, design drawings, and customer requirements.
• Identify, document, and label non‑conforming items and manage their quarantine, rework, or scrap.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and help develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Assist in handling customer complaints by analysing reports, validating issues, and preparing technical responses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanics, materials engineering, wood technology, machine design, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of quality‑control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in furniture, woodwork, or metal industries.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design documentation.
