Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Engineer to oversee and maintain the highest quality standards across all construction projects at Innovo. The role involves monitoring project specifications, managing inspection processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations teams to execute site work according to project specifications, drawings, and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections, coordinate with consultants, and verify compliance with all project requirements.
• Review and confirm that test reports meet contract requirements and keep detailed verification records.
• Inspect delivered materials, ensure they meet specified standards, and maintain comprehensive inspection logs.
• Issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary and track outstanding balanced works and snag lists.
• Prepare and submit daily quality reports documenting site activities and compliance.
• Enforce HSE policies, report incidents promptly, and ensure adherence to all legal construction and quality regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required).
• Advanced degrees or certifications in quality assurance/control are preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) are highly beneficial.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures in construction.
• Experience with site inspections, test report verification, and NCR management.
• Familiarity with HSE policies and legal compliance in the construction sector.
