Quality Officer

About the role

The Quality Officer will implement and monitor the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan at American Hospital Dubai, collaborating with clinical and administrative leaders to enhance patient care outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program.
• Develop data collection tools, support IT infrastructure, and create hospital‑wide reporting formats.
• Track and present improvement results to leadership, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission International measures.
• Guide development of clinical practice guidelines, protocols, pathways, and order sets.
• Coordinate education programs on data analysis and performance improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or equivalent; CPHQ certification preferred (to be completed within 6‑12 months).
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in an acute‑care international hospital.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Quality Assurance or Performance Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement processes, accreditation programs, and health information data management.
