Quantity Surveyor – Landscape Projects

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead quantity surveying activities on landscape and infrastructure projects in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for both pre‑contract estimating and post‑contract commercial management, ensuring accurate measurement, pricing and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and price works using contract drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.
• Manage post‑contract QS functions including interim and final payments, variations, cash‑flow monitoring and claim settlements.
• Provide contractual advice, audit contractor payments and ensure completeness of contractual requirements.
• Prepare and review variations, day‑works, and financial statements for monthly reporting.
• Coordinate and monitor the activities of the QS team and maintain expenditure records.
• Assist in contractor resource allocation and audit of valuations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 8–10 years of experience on large infrastructure and landscape projects, preferably in Dubai or the UAE.
• Proven experience with roads and infrastructure projects; consultancy background is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑ and post‑contract administration and construction contract documents.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work independently.
