Radiographer – Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

About the role

The role involves performing radiographic procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients, adhering to Mediclinic’s standards and all relevant regulatory requirements. The radiographer will also ensure high-quality patient care throughout the imaging process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine radiographic procedures within set guidelines and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients during imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with policy and statutory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety principles and practices are complied with according to care standards.
• Carry out equipment calibration and maintenance functions as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging, or a Higher Diploma in Radiology (minimum 3‑year program) from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of relevant radiography experience.

Required skills

• Current clinical knowledge of radiology practices, industry trends and technologies.
• Operating Theatre radiological procedures.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
