Rail Systems Maintenance Expert

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented Rail Systems Maintenance Expert to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of rail infrastructure, supporting both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on tracks, signaling systems, power distribution, rolling stock, and related infrastructure.
• Perform diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to identify failures and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, safety, and engineering teams to minimise service disruptions.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules, resource allocation, and work prioritisation.
• Carry out regular inspections and quality‑assurance checks to verify standards and system performance.
• Train, mentor and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
• Analyse maintenance data and trends to recommend improvements and cost‑optimisation strategies.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate rapid response efforts.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in rail systems or related infrastructure maintenance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of rail infrastructure, including track, signaling, power distribution and rolling stock.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
