Receiving Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team at Rixos Hotels in Ras Al Khaimah (Marjan Island). The role is essential for accurate receipt, inspection and documentation of all incoming goods and supplies, supporting the smooth operation of our luxury hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, ensuring correct quantity and quality.
• Document any discrepancies or damages and report them to the relevant departments.
• Maintain daily receiving logs for food and non‑food items and keep accurate records.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Purchasing and other departments to ensure seamless processes.
• Follow HACCP standards for product handling and storage.
• Keep the receiving area clean, organized and safe.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• College diploma or equivalent with prior experience in a similar receiving or inventory role.
• Knowledge of materials control, inventory management and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move items of varying weights and basic math skills for accurate counting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration.
• Familiarity with HACCP standards is a plus.
