Receptionist (UAE National) - Al-Futtaim Automotive, BYD

About the role

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient front-desk operations. The role supports day-to-day administrative activities, coordinates with internal teams and helps create a seamless link between customers and the Aftersales division. It is based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule meetings effectively and assist visitors with access, seating and refreshments without delay.
• Greet visitors and callers professionally and keep the reception area neat and organised.
• Handle calls and inquiries accurately, relay messages promptly and resolve issues courteously.
• Complete reports, correspondence and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain visitor logs, contact lists and internal records accurately, up to date and confidential.
• Coordinate between reception and the Aftersales team to support smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in a front-desk, customer service or administrative role, preferably in an automotive or service-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy front-desk environment.
