Regional Sales Director – Middle East

About the role

Luna Innovations, the global leader in distributed fibre‑optic sensing, is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Middle East. Reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing, you will own the commercial performance of the sensing business across the region and build a high‑performing sales organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Grow revenue by leading the team to win new business, expanding existing accounts and cross‑selling the full portfolio.
• Rapidly build and integrate a regional sales organisation, assess capability, and place the right people in the right roles.
• Own the regional go‑to‑market plan, design territories, and develop a partner ecosystem to extend coverage.
• Carry full commercial responsibility for revenue, margin, pipeline, forecast accuracy and disciplined operating rhythms.

Required profile

• Technical degree or equivalent industry experience; business‑fluent English required.
• Strong analytical and strategic ability combined with high emotional intelligence.
• Proven track record of building, integrating and leading high‑performing commercial teams.
• Self‑starter with high ownership, willing to get hands‑dirty and lead by example.

Required skills

• Digital fluency with strong CRM and sales‑tooling skills.
• Ability to quickly adopt new technologies and apply AI to improve productivity.
