Registered Nurse - Dialysis

About the role

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, part of M42's healthcare network, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its dialysis unit in Sharjah. The nurse delivers individualized dialysis care to patients while adhering to clinical standards, safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-dialysis and post-dialysis nursing assessments in line with clinical guidelines.
• Perform safe and efficient hemodialysis treatments, including equipment preparation, access management and complication monitoring.
• Administer medications and implement nursing interventions according to individualized patient care plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation to support continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment expectations, renal health and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with nephrologists and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with infection-control standards, equipment safety protocols and organizational policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid DOH/DHA/MOH license or DOH eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of hemodialysis nursing experience.

Required skills

• BLS required; ACLS is an advantage.
• Strong technical skills in dialysis equipment and vascular access management.
