About the role

The Registered Nurse – Emergency role provides UAE national talent the chance to work in a fast‑paced emergency department at Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, delivering safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care, including assessment, triage, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide timely interventions in line with evidence‑based emergency guidelines and clinical pathways.
• Administer medications and manage emergency equipment efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, escalating critical cases as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to organizational policies.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, discharge instructions and preventive health measures.
• Uphold quality, safety and infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid Department of Health (DOH) licence as a Registered Nurse or eligibility to obtain one.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Proven leadership and team‑lead experience.
• Strong critical‑thinking and decision‑making skills under pressure.

Required skills

• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification (advantage).
