Registered Nurse – NICU Services

About the role

The Registered Nurse – NICU Services will deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients at Fakeeh Health facilities in Dubai. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, record vital signs, and monitor symptoms.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments, manage wound care, and assist during medical procedures.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Respond to medical emergencies, perform purposeful rounding, and adhere to infection‑control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Provide emotional support, advocate for patient needs, and oversee junior staff and nursing students.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience (or participation in RN residency program).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid nursing license for the UAE (DHA) or equivalent regulatory authority.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS (or ability to obtain).

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
