Registered Nurse – OPD (Outpatient Department)

About the role

The Registered Nurse will work in the Outpatient Department (OPD) in Sharjah, delivering safe, patient‑centred care and collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educate patients and the public about health conditions and offer emotional support.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs and identify nursing diagnoses.
• Develop and review care plans with the interprofessional team and the patient.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products and monitor for reactions.
• Deliver wound‑care management and assist in medical procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations, ensure safe admission, transfer and discharge.
• Maintain and update clinical skills, including life‑support certifications.

Required profile

• Valid licence to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Willingness to work across departments and clear English communication skills.
• Ability to manage professional re‑licensure and maintain documentation.
