Registered Nurse - Operating Theatre

About the role

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is recruiting one Registered Nurse for its Operating Theatre. The nurse provides and coordinates patient-centred, evidence-based nursing care while complying with ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi-professional team according to clinical standards and relevant legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in line with clinical risk policies and procedures.
• Create a conducive environment for positive patient experiences under nursing leadership.
• Supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing staff to build their competence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Valid BLS, ACLS and PALS certificates.
• At least two years of experience in the home country; three years of recent or current experience assisting with major surgeries (general surgery, urology, OBGYN, laparoscopic surgery, ENT and others) is desired.
• UAE experience is beneficial.
• Basic Arabic and English verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of patient safety standards.
• Computer literacy and MS Office.
