Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department (Sharjah)

About the role

The post holder will work within the scope of practice, prioritising patient health, wellbeing and safety while assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care needs. This role involves coordinating patient care in the outpatient department alongside physicians and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, identify and monitor patients' needs, creating and evaluating care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and recognise and escalate abnormalities.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products and provide wound care management.
• Assist in medical procedures, both invasive and non‑invasive, and prepare patients for examinations and treatment.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer and discharge processes.

Required profile

• Valid licence to work as a registered nurse in the UAE and a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to manage professional re‑licensure and willingness to work across departments when needed.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is desirable.
