Regulatory Affairs Scientist (Entry Level)

About the role

P&G is hiring a Scientist - Regulatory Affairs for its Dubai General Office, reporting to the Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs Middle East & Africa and covering the Middle East and Africa countries. The role drives regulatory compliance and market access for products, from building regulatory strategies to executing product submissions and registrations. It is a full-time, entry-level position.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day regulatory affairs activities for your area of responsibility, working autonomously but in line with the local manager.
• Monitor the regulatory environment across the Middle East and assess the impact of new and changing regulations.
• Ensure global, regional and local processes, policies, SOPs and working instructions are in place and followed.
• Compile and submit regulatory submissions, respond to regulator questions and handle correspondence in line with agency guidelines and country-specific requirements.
• Prepare and submit registration dossiers and achieve registration for the product portfolio within agreed timelines, and renew registrations by defining accurate timelines.
• Maintain and archive regulatory files and records in line with company standards, and update dossiers after registration, including variation documents.
• Review product artwork, promotional material and tools for conformity with marketing codes and legal requirements.
• Liaise with health authorities, distributors and regulatory authorities to obtain and maintain registrations.
• Lead, monitor and communicate risks on key projects, track application progress against timelines and report status updates to stakeholders and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• 0-1 years of experience in pharmaceutical or personal healthcare regulatory work.
• Arabic and English.
• Experience with pharma and/or consumer healthcare products.

Required skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships across departments and work collaboratively.
