Regulatory & Compliance Manager - Engineering Quick Commerce

About the role

Amazon is looking for an experienced Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join its Amazon Now team in Dubai. The role ensures technical and regulatory compliance across engineering operations and leads end-to-end compliance management, covering due diligence, permit acquisition and renewals. It suits someone who can navigate complex regulatory landscapes and work with external partners to build compliance frameworks that meet building codes and operational regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering compliance from project initiation through to operation.
• Develop and implement engineering compliance frameworks aligned with regional regulatory requirements.
• Review technical drawings and engineering solutions against industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain continuous improvement in engineering compliance processes and controls.
• Provide expert guidance on technical compliance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities on technical compliance matters.
• Manage technical compliance audits and assessments with internal cross-functional teams.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and coordinate with authorities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Preferred: 3+ years defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Preferred: professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials.
