Relationship Manager - Business Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Business Banking will manage a portfolio of Small Enterprise (SE) clients, driving both borrowing and non‑borrowing business across the bank’s branch network. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, deepening existing relationships, and ensuring the portfolio meets financial and non‑financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a set of existing SE relationships while originating new ones in the local business community.
• Identify and pursue cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities across the bank’s product suite.
• Conduct credit facility reviews, recommend appropriate credit solutions, and monitor portfolio risk.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and due‑diligence procedures.
• Maintain high‑quality documentation, perform client visits, and provide regular account updates.
• Screen the market for new‑to‑bank (NTB) opportunities and liaise with internal and external advisors.
• Support junior staff development and collaborate with risk and business units to achieve targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing SME or Small Enterprise banking relationships.
• Strong understanding of credit assessment, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to meet assigned financial and non‑financial targets.
• Excellent customer service orientation and relationship‑building skills.
