Relationship Officer – Accounting and Tax

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, client‑focused Relationship Officer to join our Accounting & Tax department in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will act as the main liaison between our clients and internal finance teams, ensuring accounting, VAT and corporate tax matters are handled efficiently and in compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on accounting, VAT and corporate tax issues.
• Coordinate requests and information flow between clients and internal accounting, tax and compliance teams.
• Collect and follow up on client documentation, accounting records and confirmations.
• Monitor and manage deadlines for financial statements, VAT returns and corporate tax filings.
• Assist in onboarding new clients, explaining service scope and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure clear communication throughout engagements.
• Support billing processes, contract renewals and other client‑service related follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in a client‑facing role within an accounting, audit, tax or professional services environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet tight deadlines.
