Remote Audio Engineer (Urdu Music Production)

About the role

Mercurial is seeking a Remote Audio Engineer with expertise in Urdu music production to evaluate and label AI‑generated tracks. You will work independently, reviewing musicality, vocal quality, and mix fidelity while adhering to prompt specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated music across genres for creativity, production quality, and prompt adherence.
• Compare songs on vocal performance, mix balance, and overall musicality.
• Label each track by genre, structure, instrumentation, and vocal characteristics.
• Review AI‑generated lyrics and vocal outputs for accuracy and quality.
• Deliver evaluations asynchronously, meeting flexible deadlines.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Urdu.
• Ability to follow detailed English instructions.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Access to high‑quality headphones or studio monitors for critical listening.
• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition is preferred.
• Credited or commercially released production or engineering work.
• Familiarity with contemporary Urdu genres, sub‑genres, and artists.

What we offer
