Remote Web Developer (Unpaid) – Undergraduate/Graduate

About the role

SJA Pathway is looking for motivated undergraduate or graduate students to join its team as a part‑time, remote Web Developer. This unpaid position offers hands‑on experience building and maintaining real‑world web platforms used by job seekers, students, and entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities

• Implement responsive front‑end interfaces and integrate them with back‑end services.
• Troubleshoot bugs, optimise site performance, and ensure security and accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and document new features.
• Collaborate with mentors and team members on live projects.
• Contribute ideas to improve user experience and overall product quality.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, IT or related program (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance and work effectively in a remote, project‑based environment.
