Reservation Agent (Female)

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Reservation Agent to join its team at Novotel & Ibis Gate Hotels Abu Dhabi. The agent is the main point of contact for guests, guiding them through the reservation process and delivering a professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional and efficient customer service to all guests
• Handle incoming calls, emails and online reservation requests professionally
• Recommend additional services and amenities to optimise revenue
• Explain the property, its facilities and special requests, and keep up to date on promotions, rates and availability
• Process reservations accurately, recording guest details and preferences correctly
• Work with other departments to meet guest requests and resolve concerns
• Answer guest questions and handle complaints promptly and professionally
• Contribute to team objectives and maintain high service standards

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus
• Exceptional customer service skills and a guest-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast pace
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Required skills

• Proficiency in reservation systems and basic computer applications
• Prior experience with Opera or a related system is an asset
• Good verbal and written communication and problem-solving abilities
