Reservoir Geologist – Dubai

About the role

UNCO Oil is seeking an experienced Reservoir Geologist to build and maintain detailed geological models of its producing and appraisal reservoirs. You will integrate diverse data sources to guide well placement, infill drilling, and reserve estimation, playing a central part in field‑development decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and update 3D static geological and reservoir models, including structural framework, stratigraphy, facies, and property distribution.
• Integrate core, well‑log, seismic, and production data to characterize reservoir architecture, connectivity, and heterogeneity.
• Define and justify development and infill well locations, targets, and trajectories.
• Provide geological input for volumetrics, reserves estimation, uncertainty analysis, and reservoir simulation.
• Support drilling operations with well‑site geology, geosteering, and formation evaluation.
• Prepare technical reports and present reservoir descriptions and development recommendations to management and partners.

Required profile

• PhD in Geology, Geoscience, Reservoir Geology or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of development/reservoir geology experience with an operator or consultancy.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Petrel or equivalent static‑modeling and interpretation software.
• Strong ability to integrate geological, petrophysical, geophysical and production data into reservoir models.
