About the role
The Resident Engineer Telecom SCADA will lead technical activities for SCMS, telecommunications, optical fiber and security systems across high‑voltage substations in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Review feasibility and project parameter reports to define scope and specifications for telecom, optical fiber and SCMS systems.
- Evaluate bidder queries pre‑ and post‑tender and provide technical recommendations.
- Inspect and certify erection of SCMS, telecom equipment, fiber distribution panels, cables and accessories.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality compliance for 132kV, 220kV and 400kV substations.
- Coordinate with clients to discuss needs, attend FAT, SAT and commissioning activities.
Required profile
- Degree in Electronics & Communication or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in energy sector transmission/distribution automation, SCMS, telecommunications, optical fiber and security.
