About the role
The Restaurant and Bar Manager will oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas at Aloft Hotels in Dubai. You will ensure high standards of service, sanitation, and financial performance while leading a diverse team.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage employees, covering all day‑to‑day operations and stepping in for absent staff.
- Maintain service and sanitation standards across all outlets and ensure compliance with local liquor and food handling laws.
- Review staffing levels, control purchasing, and manage invoice payments to meet financial objectives.
- Lead the food‑and‑beverage team through coaching, performance monitoring, and development initiatives.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in a related field with 2 years of experience.
- Proven ability to manage operations, train staff, and drive financial results in a hospitality environment.
