Restaurant & Bar Manager

About the role

The Restaurant & Bar Manager will oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas, ensuring high standards of service, sanitation, and financial performance. This full‑time position reports to senior hotel management and works closely with the food and beverage team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage employees, covering duties in their absence and maintaining service and sanitation standards.
• Lead the food and beverage team through coaching, performance monitoring, and development of training programs.
• Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, local liquor laws, and health regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handle guest complaints, and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, and financial aspects such as purchasing and invoice payment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Business and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to manage day‑to‑day restaurant operations and lead a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards, liquor regulations, and financial controls.
