Restaurant General Manager – Al Wadi (Farmhouse by Syrco)

About the role

The Al Wadi Restaurant at Farmhouse by Syrco, part of The Ritz‑Carlton portfolio, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, uphold the brand’s Gold Standards, and drive financial performance. This full‑time, onsite role requires hands‑on leadership across the restaurant, bar/lounge and room‑service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all day‑to‑day restaurant operations, including staffing, service and sanitation standards.
• Assist with menu planning, ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation regulations, and support servers and hosts during peak periods.
• Oversee financial aspects such as purchasing, invoice payment, and cost control to meet budgetary goals.
• Lead, coach and develop the food‑and‑beverage team, fostering a culture of mutual respect and high performance.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and continuously improve the guest experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least four years of food‑and‑beverage or culinary experience.
• Or a two‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of two years relevant experience.
