Restaurant Hostess – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Restaurant Hostess to join the luxury hospitality team at Raffles Dubai. You will be the first point of contact for guests at Azur Restaurant and Solo Italian Restaurant, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth flow of service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, lead them to their tables and manage seating arrangements.
• Handle telephone reservations and keep the reservation system organized.
• Assist with table set‑up, displays and maintain the hostess station and surrounding areas.
• Update and maintain the guest database and ensure compliance with LQA and hotel standards.
• Address guest concerns promptly and report incidents to the supervisor or manager.
• Support the service team during busy periods, including section holding, coffee station and mise‑en‑place.
• Prepare operational materials, follow safety, sanitation and hygiene policies, and perform cashiering duties when required.
• Train and coach staff on hostess standards and monitor guest flow to maximise turnover.

• Good teamwork skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Willingness to learn and apply luxury hospitality standards.
