About the role

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead TAPASAKE, a Japanese‑Mediterranean dining concept located at One Za’abeel, Dubai. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all front‑of‑house activities, guaranteeing service excellence.
• Drive guest satisfaction by delivering memorable dining experiences and promptly addressing concerns.
• Coach, develop and schedule the FOH team to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, grooming, hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Collaborate with culinary and bar teams to provide seamless service.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of restaurant staff.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for service quality and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of Food & Beverage experience, including 2‑3 years as a Restaurant Manager in an upscale lifestyle or nightlife concept.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest experience.
• Commercial awareness with experience driving operational performance and productivity.
• Experience with internationally recognised hospitality brands is highly desirable.

Required skills
