Restaurant Manager – Lead Operations

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead overall operations and performance of Ikigai, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence and strong commercial results. This hands‑on role provides visible leadership across all aspects of the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain and continuously elevate service standards, operational efficiency and overall performance.
• Provide visible, hands‑on floor leadership, supporting the team during service.
• Ensure the restaurant is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and readiness.
• Coordinate special events, promotions and initiatives to enhance guest experience and drive revenue.
• Deliver personalized guest experiences and resolve concerns promptly.
• Lead, coach, motivate and develop the front‑of‑house team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Prepare schedules, manage staffing levels and control labour costs while meeting demand.
• Monitor sales, revenue and profitability, identifying opportunities for commercial improvement.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and Asian‑inspired cuisine operations.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop front‑of‑house teams.
