Restaurant Manager - Soraya (Pre-Opening)

About the role

Soraya, a Persian-inspired restaurant in Abu Dhabi run by 971 Hospitality, is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join its pre-opening team in Dubai. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, lead the front-of-house team and help set up operational standards so that guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, efficient service
• Lead, train and develop the front-of-house team
• Maintain high standards of guest service, presentation and hospitality
• Manage staff scheduling, performance and day-to-day operational requirements
• Monitor sales, costs and operational performance to support profitability
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and UAE regulations
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues effectively
• Work with the Head Chef and senior management to deliver a seamless dining experience
• Support pre-opening activities, including recruitment, training and implementation of operational procedures

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a fine-dining or upscale venue
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, budgeting, sales and cost control
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
