Revenue Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Revenue Accounting Specialist provides revenue accounting services to a portfolio of hotels across the Middle East and Africa from the UAE Finance Centre of Excellence. The role ensures accurate revenue postings, compliance with Hilton standards, and supports hotel finance teams remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate revenue postings and prepare Daily Income Audit Reports for assigned hotels.
• Approve Daily Income Audit bundle reports and follow up with hotel teams to ensure documentation is uploaded to Docuware.
• Post revenue and process reallocations based on requests from authorized finance leads.
• Reconcile revenue‑related taxes and report timely to hotels for government submission.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for revenue‑related accounts.
• Reconcile daily credit‑card activity, post related receipts, and investigate variances.
• Identify process‑improvement and automation opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Support additional finance initiatives as required.

Required profile

• High school graduate minimum; university degree or accounting qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience as a General Accountant or Income Auditor.
• Fluent English; French or Arabic an advantage.
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
• Proactive, inquisitive mindset with focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of revenue accounting principles.
• Experience with finance systems such as Navision, OnQ/OA.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Docuware for document management.
