Risk and Underwriting Representative (UAE National)

About the role

The Risk and Underwriting Representative will manage the corporate and SME mailbox, allocate quotes to underwriters, and support underwriting activities across the Middle East and Africa. This role ensures timely processing of renewals, new business inceptions, and compliance with internal guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the large corporate and SME team mailbox and allocate quotes among underwriters.
• Prepare Table of Benefits for renewals and new business inceptions for corporate and SME accounts.
• Perform legal checks on new quote census and screen groups before allocation.
• Generate and format reports from the system for internal use.
• Liaise with the sales team to manage expectations on quote turnaround times.
• Provide underwriting support for SME business renewals across Africa and individual business renewals across the Middle East.
• Participate in problem‑solving activities to identify root causes and suggest process improvements.
• Adhere to internal guidelines to ensure timely, compliant processing of all assigned work.
• Support underwriters with additional tasks as needed.
