Risk Data Mart Lead – Functional & Technical SME

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned functional and technical SME to lead the design and implementation of a Risk Data Mart for a leading financial institution in the UAE. The role combines deep banking risk knowledge with strong data‑architecture expertise to deliver a scalable, auditable solution that meets regulatory and internal reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Risk Data Mart from requirements through implementation.
• Translate risk and regulatory requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Define data models, data mappings, calculations, lineage, reconciliation, and data‑quality controls.
• Coordinate integration across lending, treasury, collateral, customer, finance, and risk systems.
• Manage stakeholders, delivery teams, dependencies, risks, and project governance.
• Ensure the solution is scalable, auditable, and aligned with regulatory and internal reporting needs.

Required profile

• Strong banking risk‑domain experience, including credit, market, liquidity, or operational risk.
• Proven experience delivering Risk Data Marts, regulatory reporting platforms, or enterprise data warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL, data modelling, data governance, and reporting architectures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and delivery leadership skills.
