Risk Management & Business Continuity Officer

About the role

Ultimate HR Solutions is recruiting a Risk Management & Business Continuity Specialist for a leading organization in the UAE. The role supports the development and implementation of risk management and business continuity frameworks, helping the organization identify, assess, manage and monitor risks while promoting a strong risk awareness culture.

Key responsibilities

• Risk management: support risk policies, procedures and frameworks; implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process; coordinate risk assessments and support risk owners in treating and reporting risks
• Organize risk identification and assessment workshops, review risk registers and monitor key risks, treatment plans and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Support risk management training and awareness activities
• Business continuity: support the BCM framework, coordinate Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and dependency assessments, and help develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans
• Plan and support BCP tests, tabletop exercises, drills and scenario simulations, and document results and follow up improvements
• Periodically review risk policies and controls, track progress of risk treatment plans and report on risk and business continuity activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in risk management, governance, business continuity or a related field; candidates with 2-3 years of strong experience may also be considered
• Experience in ERM, governance or BCM is preferred; experience in the energy sector or a large organization is an advantage
• Professional certification such as CERA, CRM, PRM or similar is an advantage
