About the role
Halliburton is hiring an R&M Electrical Technician II in Abu Dhabi, within its Support Services product service line (Sperry Drilling Services). The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining down-hole tool electronics under direct supervision, with areas of specialization such as electronics aptitude, computer skills and assembly and disassembly of Measure While Drilling and Logging While Drilling tools.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnoses, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and related equipment, including directional/RSS and M/LWD sensors.
- Carry out duties safely, efficiently and effectively.
- Specialize in areas such as mechanical aptitude, electronics aptitude, computer skills, and assembly and disassembly of Measure While Drilling and Logging While Drilling down-hole tools.
Required profile
- Technical school certificate or equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- An associate degree or higher is preferred.
