Room Attendant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

The Room Attendant ensures that guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, meeting the high standards of Royal Continental Hotel & Suites. Working full‑time on‑site, you will be part of a dedicated housekeeping team that supports a superior guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Make beds, change linens, and replenish room amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, dust surfaces, vacuum floors, and maintain overall room hygiene.
• Inspect rooms for readiness and report any maintenance issues.
• Restock housekeeping carts and manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and service inquiries.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods and push carts.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; UAE hospitality experience is advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and safe handling of chemicals.
• Proficiency with housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, floor polishers, and cleaning tools.
