About the role
The Safety Assistant Engineer supports the implementation and enforcement of HSE procedures across site operations, helping to maintain a safe working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor high‑risk activities such as confined space entry, TBM backup, lifting, electrical works and cross‑passage construction, ensuring compliance with permits and safety standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections, identify hazards, and report them for immediate corrective action during each shift.
- Coordinate with supervisors and safety teams to promote safety awareness and ensure regulatory and project compliance.
Required profile
- Experience or knowledge of HSE procedures in construction or industrial settings.
- Ability to work on‑site, observe operations closely, and communicate safety concerns effectively.
