Sales Assistant - Retail (Kiabi)

About the role

Al-Futtaim Retail is hiring a Sales Assistant for its Kiabi store in Dubai. The main aim is to drive sales while giving customers a positive shopping experience. The role covers keeping the store clean and welcoming, greeting and helping customers, and handling sales transactions efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain store standards and cleanliness, and follow the dress code with an energetic attitude
• Greet every customer immediately, give current product information and follow up after fittings
• Thank customers sincerely when they leave and invite them back
• Serve efficiently at the cash wrap, offer gift cards and keep the area clean
• Try to add on to sales and record customer information in the database

Required profile

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in retail sales
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for at least 8 hours

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal communication and good verbal communication
• Excellent customer service and product knowledge, able to explain product features
• Efficiency in handling sales transactions and maintaining store standards
