Sales Assistant - Ship Repair and Maintenance

About the role

Secure Ships & Boats Repairing, a ship repair and maintenance provider founded in 2008, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Assistant in Umm Al Quwain. The role supports the sales team by handling customer inquiries, preparing quotations and following up on leads and service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations and follow up on leads and service requests
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and update sales documentation and reports
• Coordinate with operations and technical teams
• Assist with scheduling client meetings and organize sales materials
• Ensure timely responses to existing and prospective clients
• Monitor ongoing projects from a sales perspective and help improve customer satisfaction

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; additional vocational or business-related education is beneficial
• Prior experience in sales support, customer service or a related administrative role is preferred
• Familiarity with ship repair, marine services or technical service industries is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment and adapt to a fast-paced marine services industry
