Sales Assistant - Ted Baker Jebel Ali

About the role

Al-Futtaim Retail is hiring a Sales Assistant for its Ted Baker store at Jebel Ali Outlet Village in Dubai. The Sales Assistant drives store sales by engaging customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere and keeping operational standards high, while supporting store management in reaching sales targets. The position takes part in daily retail operations and keeps the store clean, organised and aligned with visual merchandising guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Greet every customer immediately with a smile and a sincere, friendly welcome, and give them current, relevant product information
• Thank customers sincerely when they leave and invite them back
• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly and try to add on to the sale
• Serve efficiently at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, keep the cash wrap clean and capture customer information in the database
• Maintain a clean, organised environment and carry out housekeeping duties according to visual presentation standards set by store management

Required profile

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1-2 years of prior retail sales experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and standing for at least 8 hours
