Sales Engineer - Security Systems, Install

About the role

The Sales Engineer for Security Systems reports directly to the Sales Manager, Security Systems - GCC. You will generate new business and deliver a sales target in the UAE across the ELV / Security Systems portfolio, focusing on greenfield and new construction projects and growing market share with existing and new clients in focused verticals. The role centres on technology-driven solutions such as CCTV, access control, command and control centre, analytics, ICT and other ELV and physical security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create, qualify and close new sales opportunities through competitive value propositions and high-quality proposals, taking part in tendering and bidding supported by the pre-sales team.
• Differentiate Johnson Controls by leveraging your knowledge of competitors' strategies, products, solutions and services.
• Build long-term customer relationships and drive growth of your territory and accounts.
• Manage multiple priorities with good planning and time management.
• Map stakeholders at contractor, consultant and end-user level to improve winning rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in ELV / Security Systems sales in the UAE market.
• Experience explaining technical solutions and a commercial understanding.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Fluent English; UAE driving licence is mandatory.
