Sales Executive – Events

About the role

Accor is seeking a Sales Executive to drive event business for its Dubai hotel. You will own the full sales cycle for meetings, conferences, training programmes, corporate functions and social celebrations, turning enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Own event enquiries and manage leads from qualification to booking.
• Create accurate proposals covering venue, catering, audiovisual, guestroom needs and event packages.
• Quote in line with approved rates, identify upselling opportunities and protect commercial value.
• Host client visits, conduct venue show‑rounds and detailed needs‑assessment meetings.
• Prepare contracts, booking documentation, deposits and coordinate payment milestones with Finance.
• Hand over confirmed business to Event Planning/Operations with complete requirements.
• Develop repeat business by building relationships with corporate bookers and planners.
• Maintain forecast discipline by updating enquiry status, conversion rates and utilisation in the system.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in hotel events sales, banqueting sales, MICE or a comparable venue‑sales role.
• Strong customer‑service mindset, commercial instinct and confidence to close business.
• Excellent coordination, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple enquiries in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent professional English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with hotel sales, events or CRM systems.
