Sales Executive - Non-Food (FMCG)

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Sales Executive for the Non-Food Division of a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company based in Dubai. The role drives sales of non-food products to meet or exceed targets, builds and maintains customer relationships, uncovers new business opportunities and applies effective sales strategies. It calls for strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach and a good understanding of the non-food FMCG market.

Key responsibilities

• Sales planning and strategy: develop plans to reach revenue targets and grow market share, analyse trends, customer preferences and competitors, and work with the sales team and management to set targets and action plans.
• Customer relationship management: build relationships with retailers, wholesalers and distributors, visit customers regularly, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• New business development: prospect retailers, specialty stores and online platforms, research new segments or areas, and deliver sales presentations to prospects.
• Order management and sales support: process orders accurately, coordinate with logistics, finance and customer service, and provide product training, merchandising and promotional support.
• Reporting and analysis: record sales activity and performance, generate regular sales reports, and use data to improve strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field; a sales or marketing certification is a plus.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in the FMCG industry with a focus on non-food products.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving and a results-oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Familiarity with sales techniques, CRM systems and market research tools.
