Sales Executive - Shipping & Freight Forwarding

About the role

Ultiwise Consult is hiring a Sales Executive for shipping and freight forwarding in the UAE. The role involves making outbound calls to prospective customers, generating leads and converting them into new business, with a base salary of AED 10,000 plus commission.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Generate qualified leads and convert them into new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer shipping needs and recommend suitable air, sea and land freight solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations with the operations and pricing teams.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects to close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Update customer interactions, sales activities and lead status in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth shipment execution, stay updated on freight rates and market trends, resolve customer inquiries and provide excellent service.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of tele sales experience in a shipping, freight forwarding or logistics company.
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling and client acquisition.
• Strong understanding of air freight, sea freight, LCL/FCL, import and export and customs procedures.
