About the role
Majid Al Futtaim LifeStyle is looking for an Interior Designer who provides design services to help customers choose materials and furnishings. The role covers the period from project inception to owner occupancy, ensuring that budget, schedule and client expectations are met.
Key responsibilities
- Determine the client's goals and project requirements
- Prepare final plans using computer applications
- Place orders for materials and oversee installation of the design elements
- Cultivate and market to new clients and maintain existing client relationships
- Share product range knowledge with customers to encourage sales and consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals
- Set costs and project fees according to budget
- Specify materials and furnishings such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring and plumbing fixtures
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in interior design or similar
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar field
- Communication and presentation skills
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
