Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding

About the role

This position is responsible for generating new business and growing revenue across freight forwarding and logistics services. The role covers the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing and account growth, with strong on‑ground client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business across air, sea, inland and project cargo services.
• Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, quoting, negotiating and closing.
• Build and manage a portfolio of key industrial and project‑based accounts.
• Meet clients face‑to‑face regularly to maintain market presence.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals and rate quotations.
• Coordinate shipment execution with operations to ensure smooth client experience.
• Cross‑sell warehousing and logistics services.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in CRM and ERP systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of freight forwarding or logistics sales experience in the UAE.
• Proven track record of winning new accounts and managing the full sales cycle.
• Active portfolio of freight forwarding, logistics or industrial project clients.
• Field sales role with regular face‑to‑face client meetings.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
